Be a S.H.A.R.P. Leader - Part 2

H — Humility

If you stop being teachable, you stop being useful.

That sounds strong—but it’s true.

Proverbs 11:2 says when pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. Not talent. Not experience. Not platform.

Wisdom.

And wisdom is what leaders need most.

The longer you lead, the easier it is to coast on what you already know. You’ve seen the patterns. You’ve solved the problems. You’ve taught the lessons.

But depth doesn’t come from experience alone. It comes from staying open.

John Wesley said, I am a learner, till the day of my death. That’s the posture of a deep leader.

Humility says, I still have something to learn.
Humility says, I might not be seeing this clearly.
Humility says, someone else might have insight I need.

And here’s the kicker—your team can feel it.

A humble leader creates a culture where people speak up, grow, and take ownership. A prideful leader shuts that down without even realizing it.

You don’t have to know everything to lead well. But you do have to stay teachable.

Do Today:
Ask one trusted person, Where do you see a blind spot in me as a leader? Then listen. Don’t defend. Don’t explain. Just receive it.
