P — Prayer
What you don’t pray about, you do alone.
And that’s a heavy way to lead.
Philippians 4:6 invites us to bring everything to God—not just the big crises, but everything. With thanksgiving. With trust.
Prayer isn’t the last resort of a busy leader. It’s the starting point of a dependent one.
E.M. Bounds wrote, God does nothing but by prayer, and everything with it. That may feel extreme—but it captures the heart of it.
Prayer aligns us.
Centers us.
Reminds us who’s actually in charge.
Because ministry can quietly become functional instead of spiritual.
We plan well. Organize well. Execute well.
But without prayer, we’re relying on our strength, our wisdom, our energy.
And that runs out.
Prayer reconnects us to the Source.
It shifts the weight off our shoulders and back where it belongs.
Do Today:
Write down three specific things in your ministry right now. Pray over each one by name. Don’t rush it. Don’t generalize it. Bring it to God personally.
